Appearance: Morris isn't exactly an imposing man, with an average height, round face and a slightly thick build, with perhaps a faint layer of chub over his generally fit appearance. But for all the world, he carries himself like someone who can conquer the world, wide shoulders relaxed and face set in an easy smile.

It's not clear if Morris has gotten a bit older, or has just gained the maturity from a distinguished appearance. The uniform for the Elite Beat Agents lends to his air of confidence; nothing quite adds to a feeling of importance and confidence like a two-piece suit, complete with a tie. His dark eyes are hidden behind reflective radiator sunglasses with the faintest tint of blue, and has trimmed his beard to a goatee, and grown his hair out to an afro--not as impressive a look as some of his coworkers, but he thinks the fedora crammed on his head adds a snazzy touch that makes up for the difference.

Personality: For someone who makes a point of helping people out, Morris can kind of be a dick. Be wary, those of the serious nature, for you are all potential victims to Morris' unimpressed smile and dry humor. And you can just deal with it, buddy; honestly, any response, be it encouragement or scolding, will only be rewarded with more of the same. In fact, those who get irritated only make him smile harder. They make it easy.

Often with a knowing smirk and a confident attitude, it's hard to get a read off of Morris. Even when thrown off-balance, struggling through the most frustrating circumstances, he likes to throw in a wry joke. As far as Morris can tell, there's few things that people can really control. So just accept it, make light of it, it's all you can do. When it starts to hit the fan, all you've got to keep you going is your mood. Therefore, he's been known to go wearing his cocky grin into the grimmest of situation, and whether or not he's taking it seriously is anyone's guess.

All in all, you can think whatever you want of this smiling man. If he lets it get to him, he's sure as hell not going to let you see it.

Abilities: The Elite Beat Agents are recruited based on their ability to hear Music. It's not just any tune; the Music is the souls of others, made audible in the form of melody. Morris can hear people's spirits and get a read off of them, understand how they feel and what they're like. Beyond that, in fact, one who knows how to hear the Music can also assist a person by dancing to that sound. This will amplify their Music, and propel them beyond normal capabilities. Pushed beyond their set limits of motivation and confidence, people have been known to complete daunting, seemingly impossible tasks with the help of Agents. Morris is skilled enough at this to take on any mission's level, though he most often serves as backup. However, Manhattan has a dampening effect over the Music of its inhabitants, lowered to a murmuring white noise when Morris arrives.

Beyond that, Morris is an Agent who actually knows how to fight. Sure, he's entirely human, but he could handle himself against another. He can drive most types of vehicles, and is obviously a skilled dancer.

Manhattanite or outsider? Outsider

History: Morris' background is entirely classified. As a member of a secret agency, Morris himself is just as nonexistent. No one outside of the Agency knows of him, what he does or how it's done. Everything in the years since he's joined has been unknown and unrecognized. And after joining the Elite Beat Agents, he left everything in his past behind. His real name, birthdate, hometown, any friends or family that he may have had, are all filed away in a top-secret folder, unknown to any but himself and the Commander. In essence, Morris is no one.

Personally, Morris hasn't really looked back since; he alludes to a life better off forgotten. The work that he's done, helping people without tangible reward or recognition, has matured him into a happier person. He's seen all sorts of strange things, from ninja carsalesmen to dueling body cells, and is more or less desensitized to whatever oddities life can throw his way. Who cares if it's too odd to understand? It's there, and as long as he can help it out, he's satisfied.

However, his last mission took a turn for the worse. Sure, it's normal to fail the occasional mission, but there was more on the line for this; the fate of the planet, as it were. Angry, music-hating aliens stormed in to put an end to rhythm by turning protestors to stone. The Elite Beat Agents rushed in to try and stop the Rhombulan's invasion of silence, but Morris and his coworkers weren't strong enough to stop the aliens; in a desperate move to protect the people from the petrification, Morris jumped in front of the ray. There was a flash of purple light, and...
